World Environmental Education Congress

The 5th World Environmental Education Congress, coordinated by the Secretarisate of the World Environmental Education Congresses, will be held in Montreal, Canada, 10-14 May 2009. The conference theme, "Earth, Our Common Home," will treat the largest and most important task for humanity, to explore ways to live better on a planet under increasing threat. Higher Learning Commission's Annual Meeting

The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (U.S.) sees proposals by 10 October for its annual conference on accreditation that is scheduled for 17-21 April 2009 in Chicago.

Though the conference has special relevance for high education institutions in the U.S, it provides exposure to U.S. accreditation issues, policies and practices that would be useful to institutions seeking accreditation or developing national accreditation systems. The 2009 World Universities Forum will include five keynote sessions that will deal with the following topics:
