An Approach for Development of Parameters/Attributes for Ranking the World Universities
Ranking world universities is the new phenomenon emerging under the World Trade Organization regime. Several agencies follow different methods for doing this process. Even then attributes/parameters are non-standard as well as specifically developed with certain parameters supporting a few universities in the developed countries alone. At this critical moment, it is inevitable to device a new set of parameter and methods for ranking the world universities. This paper discusses about a new concept oriented parameters selection for ranking world universities and suggests a method for collecting data for such ranking and standardization.
